Resihance 40 mg Tablet contains Resihance 40 mg it’s an antineoplastic and tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It inhibits the signalling process required for the multiplication of abnormal cancer cells. Resihance 40 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and gastrointestinal stromal tumor. This medication is recommended for adults only.
Resihance 40 mg Tablet comes usually in tablet format which is taken once a day according to the doctor’s advice. It is ideally taken in the same time every day. It has been seen that it is usually prescribed to be taken every day for 3 weeks then 1 week gap is given before restarting the dosage.
Side effects are very alarming in some cases when taken without professional guidance. Severe liver toxicity, bleeding, skin-peeling, blood pressure are some of the serious effects. This medicine is used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer (cancer that starts either in the colon or rectum) in patients who have not adequately responded to other anticancer medications.
Gastrointestinal stromal tumor
This medicine is used for the treatment of cancer that affects the cells in the wall of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract in patients who failed to respond with other anticancer medicines.
Hepatocellular carcinoma
This medicine is used for the treatment of cancer that affects the liver cells in patients who failed to respond with other anticancer medicines.
How does resihance 40 mg work?
The active constituent of this medicine is a tiny molecule inhibitor of manifold membrane-bound and intracellular kinases associated with normal cellular functions and in pathologic procedures like oncogenesis, tumour angiogenesis, and the retention of the tumour microenvironment.
Regorafenib is an antineoplastic, antiangiogenic and tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It inhibits tyrosine containing intracellular and extracellular receptors thus the signalling process for angiogenesis and proliferation of abnormal cells is inhibited. It minimises the growth of abnormal cancer cells and terminates metastasis of tumors or cancers.
How to take resihance 40 mg tablet ?
This tablet is taken orally; It must be taken at the same time once a day as prescribed by your physician; It must be swallowed as a whole; Don’t chew or crush this tablet.
After therapy has been initiated, do not take more or less of the Regorafenib drug than prescribed or stop taking it without your physicians’ approval. Skipping or changing the Regorafenib dose without approval may cause adverse effects making the condition more difficult to treat, or worsen side effects.
